Outreach/Missions

We believe we are called to reach out into our community and beyond to those who do not know Jesus and to those unconnected to a church, to invite them to experience a personal relationship with Christ and to become a part of the fellowship of faith. We believe we are called to reach out to all in need with compassion and assistance. (Ephesians 4:11-16, Matthew 13:31-33, Matthew 28:18-20, Mark 16:16-17, Matthew 25:31-46, 1 John 3:16-18)

 

Here are a few ministries that focus on missions and outreach:

• Interfaith Homeless Network (formerly "Interfaith Hospitality Network")
• Local School Adoption

Here are a few missions/outreach projects that groups within the church have or plan to participate in:

• Disaster Relief Short Term Mission Trip
• Flood Buckets
• Youth Missions
• Live Nativity
• 1st Responder Services
• Annual Flea Market (Fundraiser for mission projects)
• Holston Home for Children
• Student Mission Trip to Honduras
