What is it?

• A time set aside to honor the senior adults,

(age 55+) for their enthusiastic support of this church and its mission of connecting others to Christ.

• Special recognition for those among us, the Super Seniors, who have made it to 80+ years young for their endurance and commitment to Burks.

When is it?

June 3^rd during worship services

Activities Planned?

Good gospel music that we remember and love.

*During Contemporary Service A special video of the interview with several seniors that will demonstrate the Burks’ spirit of service. You will see and hear their enthusiasm, generosity, and kindness come through in their spontaneous explanation to the question, “What do seniors do at Burks?” Their stories will make you proud to be a member of this congregation.

*During Traditional Service: Video + Recognition of the super senior group – Presentation of personalized certificate of acknowledgement- hand delivered from the pulpit by fleet of foot children curriers.

What should I do?

If you have family and friends in the super senior group, please sit with them during the worship service.

Be sure to make a joyful noise when their name is called.
