Program offers your child preparation for the Hamilton County K standards in a loving, Christ-centered environment
Pre K Classes
2 to 5 days a week
 9 AM- Noon or

Burks Child Development Center Handbook 
      PreK students:
  • May attend 2, 3, 4 or 5 days a week until noon or 2 PM depending on your child’s readiness needs and age. Our experienced and kind director will help you find the schedule your child will respond to best!
  • May Transition into Child Care as prearranged with Ms. Wilson after program end time until pickup. Early drop off available. Please consult CDC office for fee schedule for these options. 
  • Experience bimonthly chapel with the Burks UMC ministry staff
  • Participate in STEM Science Technology (Engineering and Math) Group learning sessions
  • Enjoy outside play in this Gold SNeaker facility
  • Learn and play in a Tennessee 3 Star certified facility 
  • Graduate in May in an adorable ceremony,  ready for Kindergarten having met curriculum and age requirements
  • Experience Hands on learning with elements of God’s Creation in a Reggio inspired learning environment
  • Experience basic Bible stories through drama and art

9:00am – 12:00pm, 4 days/week; $300/month

9:00am – 12:00pm; 3 days/week; $250/month

9:00am – 2:00pm; Monday – Friday; $415/month (includes lunch)

9:00am – 2:00pm; 4 days/week; $350/month (includes lunch)

9:00am – 2:00pm; 3 days/week;

$275/month (includes lunch)

9:00am – 2:00pm; 2 days/week;

$225/month (includes lunch)

Burks Child Development Center exceeds 
Tennessee State standards for safety and excellence. In addition to those requirements, we also adhere to the Safe Sanctuaries Policy of the Holston Conference of the United Methodist Church as designed for Burks UMC, which is an addition layer of provisions of safety for the physical plant and those within it.
