We value the love of God.

We believe in the love of God in Christ and want to share it with others.  we seek to love Him with all of our heart, soul, mind and strength and love our neighbors as ourselves. (Mark 12:30-31, I Corinthians 13, John 13:34-35, I John 3:18)

Our mission is to connect people
with Jesus Christ, His Church
and His purpose for our lives.

We value meaningful worship.

Worship is living our lives in ways that bring glory to God.  We value worshipping God in ways that are meaningful to the people within our worship community. (John 4:19-24, Acts 2:4-6, Joshua 24:14)

We value outreach/mission.

We believe we are called to reach out into our community and beyond to those who do not know Jesus and to those unconnected to a church, to invite them to experience personal relationship with Christ and to become a part of the fellowship of faith.  We believe we are called to reach out to all in need with compassion and assistance. (Ephesians 4:11-16, Matthew 13:31-33, Matthew 28:18-20, Mark 16:16-17, Matthew 25:31-46, I John 3:16-18)

We value Christian fellowship.

Fellowship that consists of mutual nurturing, support, caring, encouragement and accountability and is best accomplished through small groups. (Acts 2:42-47, I John 1:3-4, Galations 6:2, I Peter 4:8-9)

We value people being active in ministry.

We believe God has specific ministries that He wants each of his children to do.  He shapes each person to do those ministries. (Ephesians 4:11-13, Romans 12:4-8, I Corinthians 12:4-31)

We value spiritual, emotional, relational and physical health and wholeness.

We seek to provide an environment of healing and recover. (Mark 2:17, Thessalonians 5:23, Proverbs 3:7-8)

We value the grace of God.

We value the grace of God that extends to all, regardless of their relationship with God.  God always makes the first move toward us (prevenient grace).  God offers us a right and wholesome relationship with Himself through Jesus (justifying grace) and God works in the lives of believers to help them become all He created them to be (sanctifying grace). (John 1:16, II Corinthians 9:8-9, II Corinthians 4:15)

We value prayer.

We value prayer as opportunity to commune with God.  We believe our prayers should seek God's will.  We offer prayers of thanksgiving, intercession, confession and pardon. (Matthew 6:13-19, I Thessalonians 5:17, James 5:14-16, Philippians 4:16, Luke 22:41-42)

We value the teaching and hearing of the Word.

Because we believe that the Bible is the Word of God, we believe that it is important for the church to be intentional about teaching and preaching.  We believe that the Bible has stood the test of time because it is true and because it was inspired by God.  We believe that those who walk through life with the Bible as their guide, will find their path lit by the light of God's Word.  We give thanks that the Bible introduces us to Jesus Christ, the Savior of the world, and teaches us that we can have a personal relationship with God through Him. (II Timothy 3:16, Psalms 119:105, John 1:1-5)

We value giving as a natural response to God's love.

The Bible makes the purpose of tithing very clear - to put God first in our lives.  We believe in giving God the first and best of what we earn.  We look to what we have and then give in proportion to what we have been given.  (Deuteronomy 14:22, Deuteronomy 16:17, II Corinthians 8:7)
