This year's 2012 Holston Annual ConferenceHands-On Mission Project for Zimbabwe is Food Buckets. The goal for the Chattanooga District is 300.
Here are the instructions and content items for the food buckets:
Container: Please pack items in a NEW 5-gallon bucket with lid.
- 5lb bag corn meal
- 1 box tea bags (24ct-out of box)
- 5lb bag sugar
- 1 box powdered milk (9oz or less)
- 5lb bag flour
- 1 bottle cooking oil (48oz or less)
- 2lb bag rice
- 1 small box Splenda
- 2lb bag dried rice
- 1-2lb canned ham
A $5 donation for packing and shipping is to accompany each kit. DO NOT PLACE MONEY IN THE CONTAINER! Churches should write one (1) check for total kits to their district office (ex: Chattanooga District Treasurer).
Kits are due to the district office by June 4, 2012.
