If you could help the Chattanooga Food Bank simply by grocery shopping for yourself and your family, would you do it?

Would you like to know how?

With Bi-Lo's Boostersplus Program you can make a huge difference!

Necessary steps:

1. Take one of the Bi-Lo boostersplus tags available in the Narthex (look for the Mason jar with a Chattanooga Food Bank sticker) with you next time you shop at Bi-Lo and have the cashier scan the card.

2. Shop.

The boostersplus tag will be connected to your Bi-Lo Bonus Card and the Food Bank will receive 1% of your purchases through May 2012.  You only need to have the card scanned once.  The card can then be passed along to others for them to scan as well.  Bi-Lo allows up to 3 ministries/organizations on your Bonus Card.  If you have more than one, the proceeds are divided evenly.

This is a very simple way for those who shop at Bi-Lo to help out the Chattanooga Food Bank.  If you don't shop Bi-Lo, there are other ways to support the Chattanooga Food Bank.

Beyond the numerous ways to volunteer on their website, you can talk with the Team Leaders Terri Lane and Jere Turner to learn more and to learn how they have been assisting with the weekend sack packs.

In a recent letter, the Chattanooga Food Bank gave additional ways to help feed 20,000 people every week.  Here are a few of them:

  • Go online and make a monetary donation: http://www.chattfoodbank.org/donate
